Standard Chartered Tanzania hosted its signature Ops to Ops (O2O) event, bringing together the Bank’s operations teams and clients’ operations staff for an interactive session focused on collaboration, feedback, and co-creation.
Designed for the engine room of both organisations — the teams who process transactions daily — O2O fosters stronger working relationships, improves efficiency, and celebrates service excellence. Participants from Global Subsidiaries, Local Corporates and Financial Institutions joined discussions on process improvements, client education, and new product ideas.
Highlights included a cyber security awareness session led by Matthew Guy Bottomley, Director, Client Threat Intelligence & Engagement from the UK, and recognition of individuals and teams who have driven exceptional client service.
George Binde, Chief Financial Officer Tanzania, said:
“O2O is about listening to the people who make things happen every day. It’s where we build trust, spark ideas, and create solutions that truly work for our clients.”
Matthew Guy Bottomley, Director Client Threat Intelligence & Engagement UK, added:
“Cyber security starts with awareness. By engaging directly with operations teams, we help our clients stay safe, informed, and ready for the challenges of a digital world.”
By connecting directly with operational teams, Standard Chartered continues to deliver better client experiences and co-create solutions that matter.
